Role Details:

This BI Analyst will be responsible for developing and generating reports, insight; analysis across multiple systems, primarily through the lens of subscription lifecycle analytics. You will help measure, evaluate, and improve upon the many dynamics that affect subscriber lifecycles and value - such as trial to paid conversion, streaming behavior, engagement, and churn. This role will be primarily focused on data analysis work related to Paramount+.

Your Day-to-Day:
• You will partner with marketing partners to understand business requirements, and transform these requirements into useful analysis or reporting that will inform decisions and strategy
• Effectively communicate quantitative findings to business partners (storytelling with data), with strong and significant conclusions or recommendations
• Write SQL to query a data warehouse (BigQuery) in order to answer questions from a variety of partners
• Develop automated dashboards and reports that allow collaborators to generate insights and answer questions in a self-serve fashion
• Work with data and tracking engineers to validate data collection and efficiently summarize data for downstream analysis/reporting

Key Projects (examples):
• Build detailed analysis that deepens the understanding of subscriber behavior and revenue monetization, and provide recommendations to improve user retention
• Build dashboards (using Tableau and other BI tools) that illustrate how data related to important KPIs are changing over time
• Refine data models, reports, dashboards, and insights based on the needs of a rapidly changing business
• Analyze how the lifecycle marketing campaigns and strategies impact the subscriber lifecycle behavior
• Perform ad hoc analysis on specific business problems and summarize findings in an accurate, concise and easy-to-understand manner
• Supporting monthly and quarterly reporting initiatives
• Analyzing subscriber journeys to predict/forecast the churn behavior

Qualifications:

You Have:
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field or 2-3 years experience or equivalent intern experience in the digital marketing/ entertainment sector
• Strong experience in subscription lifecycle analytics, video analytics, web analytics (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics) and 3rd-party syndicated audience measurement services (comScore/ Nielsen)
• Ability to model complex data sets to facilitate reporting and analysis
• Can communicate clearly and succinctly, adjust to diverse styles and audiences to tell compelling stories with data
• High level of comfort in SQL and/or other query languages
• Experience with Python or other scripting languages
• Adept with presentation tools and services (Google Docs, Tableau, Google Data Studio, Keynote, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Exceptional communicator across all levels of the organization; able to effectively tell stories with data and present findings to a non-technical audience

You might also have:

Strong mathematics, statistics background

Experience using project management tools like those from Atlassian (JIRA, Confluence)

Experience using Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery)

A background in SVOD or other subscription-based digital services
