STAFFING NOTICE
Deck Hand (Theater)
The smash-hit burlesque parody, The Empire Strips Back, is coming to Las Vegas April 30, 2025. NX5 Theatrical is now accepting submissions for an experienced Deck Hand.
THE SHOW

SALARY
$1,200 weekly. This includes up to 40 work hours with overtime being awarded for any hours worked beyond the initial 40.
TERM OF EMPLOYMENT
April 30 - May 3, 2025: Training during Tech and Previews
May 4 - July 28, 2025: Show Run
The Las Vegas show is an open ended run.
We are currently offering an initial 3 month contract with the possibility of an extension of up to two years.
WEEKLY SCHEDULE
Monday: 6pm - 10:30pm
Tuesday: OFF
Wednesday: 2pm - 10:30pm
Thursday: 6pm - 10:30pm
Friday: 5pm - 11pm
Saturday: 5pm - 11pm
Sunday: 5pm - 10:30pm
POSITION SUMMARY
The primary role of the deck crew includes: scenic changes and handling props throughout the show; presetting props and scenic before shows; maintenance of scenic and props throughout the show run.
The deck crew must be respectful of others at all times, be safety conscious, and demonstrate a focus on team work and collaboration. Due to the sensitive nature of this production, which includes several topless acts, we demand a high level of professional conduct.
