NPR's Salesforce CRM runs critical business processes from donor management to management of our nationwide network of 250+ Member organizations to powering digital experiences for millions of Americans. The Senior Salesforce Administrator will work with product and technical teams to strategically design and update our CRM data model and platform architecture to optimize our Salesforce platform. As a technical team leader, the Senior Salesforce Administrator will provide guidance to Salesforce resources throughout the organization. A successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to analyze, design and optimize processes utilizing the Salesforce platform, increasing user adoption, and driving best practices.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Partner with product and technical teams to evaluate, scope, design, prioritize, and complete new platform development requests in support of organizational strategic priorities
• Assess the impact of new requirements on the existing platform as well as all upstream and downstream applications, systems, and processes
• Lead the design and maintenance of system permissions including roles, profiles, permission sets, public groups, organization wide defaults, sharing rules, etc.
• Lead and provide guidance to the product and technical teams on the design of system configuration architecture including flows, process builder, record types, custom objects, etc.
• Implement sound data hygiene practices and safeguards across NPR
• Document appropriate NPR Salesforce usage, processes and workflows
• Guide and mentor cross-divisional Salesforce team members
• Work with cross-divisional teams to review, manage, and optimize integrated applications
• Contribute to a culture of collaboration and inclusion across all disciplines

QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED SKILLS
• Minimum five years of experience as a Salesforce administrator
• Demonstrated understanding of Salesforce platform, best practices, and functionality
• Demonstrated success in creating innovative, user-friendly Salesforce solutions
• Understanding of basic triggers/Apex code knowledge
• Experience with DevOps/release management
• Experience with connected apps in Salesforce
• Salesforce Administrator, Advanced Administrator, and/or Platform App Builder certifications

PREFERRED SKILLS
• Experience with Nonprofit Success Pack and nonprofit processes
• Experience with Salesforce CPQ a plus
• Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud a plus
• Experience with Salesforce Accounting Subledger a plus
