Overview and Responsibilities

Nickelodeon International is seeking a project manager for its central creative team based in New York City. Focusing on promotional short form, this role will manage all stages of the creative process from assignment brief through to final delivery and report into to the Executive Producer who runs the department.
Responsibilities:
• Support the International Creative team with managing all O&O related projects including but not limited to on-air, digital, AVOD and SVOD platforms
• Manage all stages of the project from assignment brief through final delivery, liaising between internal creative and production teams and external clients and vendors
• Initiate project briefs with Programming and other LOBs as needed, and assign to Creative team or vendor accordingly. Set-up meetings and issue communication throughout the project timeline
• Create and maintain project timeline and budget approved by Executive Producer
• Ensure that external vendor has all materials needed for assigned projects
• Communicate with BALA, MML, Production and Post Production on legal contracts, music/media licensing and any brand restrictions/guidelines
• Liaise with Domestic counterparts for internal resources/assets and Global Content Operations team for delivery workflow and communication
• Submit each round of the project to appropriate partners for review, and compile feedback in a timely manner. Route notes to Creative team and/or vendor, making sure the project is progressing on schedule
• Coordinate delivery of all project deliverables from vendor in tandem with Production Coordinator
• Host IPG meetings and keep in regular contact with regional project managers to ensure we are delivering assets in a timely manner for their needs
• Maintain status updates on all assigned projects to team-members during weekly department meeting
• Propose revised/new workflows as needed to operate as efficiently as possible
• Track invoices from vendors/freelancers to submit for processing by Production team
• Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external partners so projects can run smoothly and successfully
Basic Qualifications
• 2-3 years experience in a Project Management/Coordination role

• Strong organizational and communications skills (oral and written)
• Must be extremely detailed and able to prioritize and multi-task
• Must be able to balance numerous projects at once and be able to prioritize accordingly in a deadline oriented environment
• Must be a forward thinker and have the ability to anticipate issues, propose solutions and problem solve with minimal supervision
• Ideal candidate will possess initiative, show flexibility, be willing to work extra hours if necessary, and be a great teammate
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interface and thrive within a deadline-oriented, fast-paced and creative environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
