Overview and Responsibilities

SUMMARY:

Nickelodeon Animation Studio is looking for an Animation Casting Director. The Casting Director oversee casting for all assigned Nickelodeon shows. He/She reports to the VP of Animation Casting and Talent Development.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Should have a background in Animation Casting
• Oversee Casting Process for assigned Nickelodeon Animation Shows
• Manage Casting Assistant, Voice Record Coordinator and Voice Record Assistant
• Run Casting/Callback Sessions
• Collaborate with Casting Executives on Stunt Lists, Creative Insight and Approvals
• Generate all contracts and paperwork for shows
• Manage Oversight of Show Record Schedule and Paperwork
• Compete and Distribute all paperwork in binder for Residuals Department.
• Send invoices to Line Producer for payment.
• Track all payments for Talent Work with Network Casting Executive and BALA to ensure that we are compliant with Union guidelines

Basic Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:
• At least 3+ years of Animation Casting Director experience
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under strenuous deadlines
• Detail-oriented (Extremely Important)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Proficient in Adobe Acrobat Pro

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
• College degree preferred or equivalent work experience
