Specialist, Continuity (NE)

WGN-AM is looking to find an energetic team player to join the station on a full-time basis. The Continuity Specialist will complete all aspect of coordinating commercial instruction alongside the Traffic Department Head.

Job duties:
• Ensure the arrival, scheduling, and delivery to production of all copy takes place in a timely matter.
• Complete all aspects of coordinating commercial instruction.
• Collaboration and communication with both the sales department and production department to ensure all commercials run accurately.
• Provide back up across all functions of the Traffic Department as is needed.
• Responsible for all traffic tasks such as order entry and affidavit completion, day to day office tasks.
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
• Knowledge of radio broadcasting and prior traffic experience
• The right person for the job will be proactive, precise, detail oriented, patient, accustomed to deadlines, and able to multitask.
• Experience with Wide Orbit Traffic a plus.
• Candidate must work well with a diverse group of people who you will depend on to accomplish your tasks.
• Computer literacy a must, ability to learn new software quickly will be key to job success.
