Job Description
Specialist, Continuity (NE)
WGN-AM is looking for an energetic, helpful, and supportive team player to join the station in this in-person full-time role as Continuity Specialist (NE).
The job duties include coordinating all aspects of commercial instructions. This person will work closely with both the sales and production departments to ensure commercials run accurately. The Continuity Specialist's primary responsibility is to manage the arrival, scheduling, and delivery of commercial copy in a timely manner. Additional responsibilities include traffic tasks such as order entry and affidavit completion, day-to-day office support, and providing backup to the Traffic Department as needed.
The right candidate will be proactive, precise, detail-oriented, patient, and comfortable working on deadlines while juggling multiple priorities. Strong communication skills and the ability to build supportive working relationships with a diverse team are essential.
Previous traffic or broadcasting experience is helpful, but not required. Experience with Wide Orbit Traffic is a plus. Computer literacy and the ability to quickly learn new software are key to success in this role.
Additional responsibilities include traffic tasks such as order entry and affidavit completion, day-to-day office support, providing backup to the Traffic Department as needed, and other duties as assigned.
Pay Range: $23 - $26 dollars an hour.
