Promotions Producer

Job Description

The Promotions Producer operates digital cameras and editing software to produce images or videos for commercial and promotional content. You are someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. In this role, you will be responsible for using your video production and postproduction experience to design engaging advertising and promotional content. You will work directly with Account Executives, clients, and other producers to develop creative content based on their needs. From pre-production to post-production, you will work every aspect of each project, writing scripts, scheduling meetings and shoots, recording and editing video footage.
• Produce, edit, and design station promotions, local advertising PSA's, and special projects
• Shoots video for commercial and promotional efforts
• Confers with other personnel to discuss assignments, filming sequences, desired effects, and shot requirements.
• Sets up, compose and executes video shots
• Maintains video production and editing equipment
• Reviews assembled footage to determine whether corrections are necessary
• Organize raw footage according to scripts or instructions for commercial and promotional efforts
• Determines the specific audio and visual effects necessary to complete spots
• Completes commercial editing using the adobe suite software
• Select and combine the most effective shots of each scene to form a logical and engaging story
• Travel to client businesses for production and meetings
• Work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment and ensure that assigned projects are delivered on time
• Push the creative envelope to new heights while adhering to brand guidelines
• Perform other related duties, as assigned

Requirements & Skills:
• High school diploma, minimum. prefer college education
• Fluency in English
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Experience operating video recording equipment
• Proficiency in operating video editing equipment
• Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks
• Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, and other office equipment
