Job Description
The full-time Production Control Room Operator is responsible for various television production duties required to create scenes for live and recorded broadcasts.
• Adjusts positions and controls of cameras to change focus as requested by director.
• Composes and frames camera shots, applying the technical aspects of light, lenses and camera settings to achieve the effects sought by directors.
• Operates studio cameras during live and recorded broadcasts.
• Sets up cameras and related equipment.
• Operates graphics and video for live and recorded broadcasts.
• Operates audio board for live and recorded broadcasts.
• Operates video switcher for live and recorded broadcasts.
• Confers with directors and other crew members to discuss sequences and desired effects.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements & Skills:
• Fluency in English
• Excellent communications skills, both oral and written
• Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, fax machines and other office equipment.
• Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Pay Range: $31,200-$35,360
