Nexstar Media Inc. is looking for a highly skilled Manager, Media Strategy to join the National Ops team. The National Ops team is responsible for delivering top-notch strategic services to the National Sales Team's client base, while working closely with Media Strategists and Sales, as well as other digital teams and vendors, to bring digital media plans to life.

The Manager will support the Sr. Director, Digital Advertising Operations, in all aspects of media planning, campaign onboarding, fulfillment, optimization and reporting. This individual will lead a team of Media Strategists and Media Coordinators and interface between internal and external teams for successful multi-media advertising campaign execution across OTT, digital video, data-driven display, mobile, social and core O&O. This individual must possess strategic and critical thinking, have an analytical mindset, and make data-driven and financial decisions based on the client objectives, performance of ads and company margins.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the team successfully onboarding, pacing and delivering against campaign's KPIs in partnership with the campaign fulfillment team(s); inclusive of:
• Monitoring campaign pacing and optimizing to meet campaign delivery and goals
• Maximizing campaign exposure to a selected target audience
• Managing bid updates and budget allocation on all media channels
• Build (and guide team Strategists in building) strategic proposals across media platforms with deep understanding of fulfillment, execution, performance, pricing and profitability
• Coordinates with internal stakeholders (Social, Core, Data Science) providing strategic guidance on campaigns.
• Maintains healthy and productive relationships with team members and effectively communicates with internal stakeholders, inclusive of the account team(s)
• Understanding of platform policies and requirements
• Generating and interpreting internal reports on performance against contracted goals

Specialized Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
• Resourceful problem solver who uses logic and data-backed methodology to solve difficult problems; probes fruitful sources for input, makes good decisions based upon a mixture of analysis, wisdom, experience, and judgement
• Curious and passionate about advertising trends and the digital media landscape in general
• Understands client goals, how they translate into media strategy when applied via online technologies and can offer out-of-the-box solutions to achieve campaign KPIs
• Able to multi-task and remain accountable to deadlines without exceptions
• Extreme attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency but calmness in completing tasks for a volume of campaigns
• Persuasive oral and written communication
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with a team across disciplines

Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree or appropriate combination of experience. 3+ years' experience working in multimedia and 2 years in a managerial capacity.

Training/Equipment: Knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word). Hands on digital fulfillment experience plus experience planning and executing multi-tactic digital campaigns.

Environment and Requirements: Fast-paced office environment with quick turnarounds and demanding deadlines. Successful candidates are comfortable with day-to-day multi-tasking, as well as managing multiple projects simultaneously with frequent change in direction and priority.
