Job Description

The IT/Network Engineer works in support of an expanding broadcast facility.

This job requires comprehensive knowledge related to computer network installation and support

The applicant should have the ability to maintain and configure servers, switches, routers, desktop and laptop PCs, as well as broadcast support needs.

This position requires a flexible schedule due to our 24/7 operational needs.

An ability to stand for extended periods of time may be required.

The ability to terminate network cabling, and to troubleshoot outages quickly are necessary.

Setup and maintenance of station computers and networks

Maintain focus on network security issues and system outages

Installation and configuration of new and existing systems

Telephone system experience preferred but not mandatory

Previous Broadcast and Data-center experience is desired

Customer Service oriented

Help desk and desktop support experience

Microsoft Windows, Mac OS and Linux Platform experience

Hardware break-fix experience

Certifications preferred; A+, Net+, MCP and or MCSE

Bachelors Associates or equivalent for minimum 3-5 years

Experienced in high paced 24 hour production environment
