Title: Instructional Designer ( National Sales )

Reports to: Jennifer Staub, Vice President , Sales Training

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Vice President , Sales Training , the Instructional Designer will be responsible for working with the national and networks sales teams, including leaders and sellers, on product, sales process, systems, and related training content. The Instructional Designer will collaborate with internal and external team members to create content and e-learning curriculum promoting continuous learning of a scalable enterprise training program.

Responsibilities Include:
• Create engaging and interactive training content to enhance retention and transfer of knowledge
• Build relationships with Subject Matter Experts, Vendor/Partners, Instructional Design team members, internal stakeholders, and department trainers, to identify knowledge and skill gaps for target audience training needs; synthesize course design; support knowledge acquisition and application
• Identify and write learning objectives, develop content outlines, scripts, and storyboards for course development for varying delivery methods
• Develop and coordinate entry-level and advanced ILT, guided, personal, social, and e-learning training for a sales team located across the US
• Present course design and materials to internal leadership team and incorporate feedback
• Utilize instructional design, adult learning principles, inclusive ID concepts, and innovation strategies in conception, design, and development of engaging and informative learning experiences to support learning efforts
• Manage project timelines, maintain project documentation, and provide regular status updates of scheduled projects
• Generate supporting materials including job aids, checklists, infographics, simulations, roleplays, audio, video, reference materials
• Produce grammatically correct content
• Design online, in-person, and hybrid courses in an omni-channel TV and digital advertising context
• Employ multi-media technology and e-learning authoring tools
• Select, build, scale, manage, support, troubleshoot, continually improve, and correct technical issues within an LMS (Learning Management System)
• Update and edit training content to keep it current and innovative
• Work with other instructional designers to drive impact in a collaborative team environment and partner with cross-functional teams to drive and support training on key initiatives
• Stay up to date with training, graphics, ID principles and e-learning trends

Salary Range: $85,000 - $90,000

About you:
• 5+ years instructional design experience
• Current knowledge of effective learning development methods and platforms   
• Understanding of traditional and modern training methods (including workshops, simulations, e-learning, and coaching)  
• Experience organizing training activities in a corporate environment  
• Understanding of the lifecycle of training from analyzing training needs to creative content to delivery and impact evaluation
• Creativity in building training materials and delivery methods based on market needs to achieve sales objectives  
• Is familiar with the inclusion of gamification, scenarios, exercises, and activities to enhance the learning experience
• Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks  
• Self-motivated, influential, problem-solving professional
• Proficient in MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS), Content authoring platforms, Sales Enablement tools, Digital research, and analytics tools  
• Understanding of local and national media landscape and current TV and digital capabilities , a plus
• Sales or similar industry experience, a plus
• Experience with process training, including CRM (Customer Relationship Manager), and sales tools/platforms, a plus
• This is a work from home/remote position
• Flexibility and ability to travel , if necessary , and a v alid driver's license
