Job Description
The Graphic Artist conceptualizes and creates all online graphics for news, sales, and creative services departments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop animations and promotional graphics that coincide with station brand
• Create and produce web graphics for station website and social media
• Conceptualize, create, and assist sales department for any potential sales collateral
• Create and produce print pieces for newspaper, magazine or program pieces
• Other projects as assigned

Requirements and Skills:
• Formal training in Art, Design or Broadcasting (degree preferred but not required)
• Two years of experience in graphic design with experience in Adobe products including Photoshop, After Effects and some Illustrator.
• Ability to work on various projects simultaneously and to deliver finished projects on deadline
• Highly effective communication and organizational skills
• Positive attitude
• Problem solving skills

Physical Demands & Work Environment:
• Must be able to sit, conduct telephone conversations, use electronic mail, write letters and memos, conduct face-to-face discussions with individuals or groups, make decisions without supervision, make decisions that impact the results of co-workers, work near others, work outdoors occasionally in all weather conditions, and work indoors in environmentally controlled conditions.
• In addition, must be able to lift, set up and operate equipment weighing up to 25 pounds, and can handle, control or feel objects, tools or controls. Repetitive movements are required. Work may be conducted in extremely bright or inadequate lighting conditions.
