Job Description
The Digital Advertising Operations Manager oversees advertising-related components of Digital Operations including but not limited to order trafficking, campaign monitoring, training, and quality assurance testing for systems orpartners. The role is responsible for the setup and operation of the enabling technology of Nexstar's digital ad operations teaminclusive of ad server, order management, and ticketing systems. The position will work cross-functionally with Sales, Revenue Operations, Product, and Technology to optimize advertising within a broader digital publishing ecosystem.

• • Manage a staff responsible for fulfilling and monitoring digital advertising campaigns across a variety of skill sets. Ensure a collaborative team environment is promoted and encouraged
• • Act as a digital subject matter expert to Sales, Nexstarbusiness units, partners, and 3rd party vendors
• • Perform quality assurance and testing for digital campaigns, new sites, apps, products, and vendor implementations
• • Representteam interests in new product innovations, knowledge sharing, troubleshooting, and best practice development around everything ad serving related
• • Support Programmatic team in technical troubleshooting, creation of test pages, vendor certification efforts and other ad hoc requests
• • Perform applicable network and site maintenance to ensure optimal operations
• • Ensure the Ad Operations team is monitoring all advertiser campaigns for successful delivery
• • Responsible for managing direct reports, including hiring and setting disciplinary action as necessary
• • Other projects and activities as assigned

• • Candidate should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Digital Operations
• • Experience with Digital Ad Server (Google Ad Manager / formerly DFP preferred) and an Order Management System (WideOrbit preferred)
• • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with a proven ability to accommodate evolving responsibilities
• • Strong decision-making, organizational, planning and problem-solving skills
• • Excellent project-management and time-management skills with a customer focus
• • Knowledge of Data Management Platforms, Viewability/Ad verification vendors, HTML or JavaScript is preferred
• • Travel required
