Job Description
The Lifestyle Show Producer is responsible for producing live interview segments and taped sponsored segments in a fun, morning style format directed at female viewers and social media users.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Plans and produces live daily lifestyle show that best aligns with the show's target audience
• Writes taped and on camera segments
• Books guests, maintains show rolodex and calendar
• Communicates with sales team and clients regarding sponsored content
• Uploads taped segments to website
• Reviews daily social media product
• Maintaining the show's social media account and assisting with all online content as directed
• Evaluate entertainment value of stories and engagement for broadcast, website, and social media
• Work with production team on recording schedules and live show management
• Attend daily content meetings, provide timely feedback, and make solid decisions
• Hands-on oversight of daily one-hour show Monday thru Friday
• Build relationships with guests, clients, community members, and show contributors
• Builds show graphics and edits video as needed
• Interacts with viewers and users on social media sites
• Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements & Skills:
• Experience producing lifestyle shows or local news
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Informed about local events, entertainment, food, fashion, music, etc.
• Write scripts quickly, accurately, and conversationally
• Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Generate and coordinate local lifestyle stories and sponsored content
• Operate producing and editing software
• Coach talent and provide daily feedback to production team
