Job Description
The Broadcast Engineer/IT Support assists in all aspects of the Engineering/IT Departments
• Provide end user support for station personnel.
• Installs and tests new systems and technical infrastructure for the station.
• Minimizes service interruptions at times of equipment and/or system failure by rapidly identifying and implementing solutions.
• Installs and maintains IT network, switches, workstations, data backups, phones, and printers.
• Communicates with members of all departments to effectively resolve equipment and system issues.
• Collaborates with news crews to ensure successful productions and improve workflows.
• Manage user accounts and computers through Active Directory.
• Manage station computers and laptops using tools such as SCCM, InTune, Software Center, AutoPilot, etc.
• Provides quality support services and technical assistance for the News, Production, Creative Services, and Sales departments.
• Develop audio, video and IT solutions that meet end users' requirements.

Requirements & Skills
• Experience with digital transmitters, microwave equipment, and other broadcast-related equipment
• Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong PC/MS Office experience
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Professional written and verbal communication skills

Work Environment/Mental/Physical Requirements: Position will require day-to-day multi-tasking, as well as managing multiple projects simultaneously with frequent change in direction and priority.
