Job Description
NewsNation, America's fastest growing cable news network, is seeking to hire a Scheduling Coordinator to work in Chicago with the NewsNation Creative Marketing team.

The Scheduling Coordinator will be responsible for the strategic planning and placement of on-air promotions for NewsNation, Antenna TV, and Rewind TV, as well as coordination with Nexstar O&Os (affiliates), WGN Radio, and external placement for paid media campaigns as needed.

Responsible for managing and maintaining on-air promotional inventories and databases, investigating and resolving on-air promo discrepancies, and other production-related issues for the channels. Tasks include maintaining and archiving current promotional inventory and publishing a weekly kill list of outdated work.

This position works closely with department heads, promotion producers, and fellow coordinators to maximize station reach and awareness, and help shape the image and identity of our brands.

Must be experienced scheduling promotions or commercials at a cable network, with local station experience a plus. Technical experience on Wide Orbit, Florical or similar system, MS Office.
