The Information Security team works collaboratively with all areas of the business to ensure that we secure Netflix while maintaining our cultural values. We've built an industry-leading reputation through innovative approaches to security at speed and scale and have a long history of open source and community contributions.

What you will do:
• Lead Netflix's information security strategy, including product, studio, and enterprise security.
• Grow and inspire the team as it delivers solutions to protect and enable Netflix, in part by nurturing a security team culture that complements the overall Netflix culture.
• Participate cross-functionally as a key member of the Netflix executive team - developing, debating, and setting overall business strategy and working with peers across all business domains.
• Foster an inclusive team culture that allows members from all backgrounds to succeed while doing their best work.

Your background and experience:
• You enjoy working closely with leaders across the business to identify and solve difficult challenges in a collaborative and data-driven way.
• You love building diverse, inclusive, and high-performing teams.
• Your technical background is broad and your approach to security is pragmatic and business-focused.
• You are skilled at operating in a complex, global, collaborative, and cross-functional organization.
• You enjoy placing complex security issues in appropriate business context and are experienced using quantitative risk management to prioritize and evaluate investment decisions.
• You are a great written and verbal communicator and are comfortable and experienced presenting to and facilitating discussion with the Board and executive leadership.
• You embrace high-velocity and innovation-driven organizations and can apply your expertise to creatively solve problems across the security domain - from product security and data privacy and protection to regulatory compliance and corporate information security.
