Job Description
The Trade Marketing Manager, Partner Marketing Northern Europe will be based in Amsterdam and be part of the EMEA Marketing Partnerships team.

The Team:

In Partner Marketing, our mission is to drive awareness of the Netflix brand and capture subscriber acquisition through high-quality partnerships and promotions. Our partners range from revered global brands to beloved local companies and through partnership we gain access to new investment, new audiences, and broader reach. Working closely with other internal marketing teams we help solve our partners' business problems with inspired marketing solutions that make people so excited about Netflix they sign up and watch.

The Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering marketing activity through our partners' (broadband / pay TV / mobile operators) sales channels and retail outlets. They will function as an important link between our broader partner marketing functions; business development, product, and local title marketing teams to define best practices and deliver growth, primarily in the Northern European region (Benelux, Nordics, and UK).

Key Responsibilities:
• Work alongside the Partner Marketing team to establish strong working relationships with partner marketing teams across the Northern European region (e.g. KPN, Proximus, Telia, Telenor, Nuuday).
• Create and execute complete 'go to market' plans for new and existing partner offers with a focus on the full sales cycle, including retail, call centers, e-commerce and up- and cross-selling to the partner base.
• Work with insights to define how we can drive incremental growth by defining audience segments, base opportunities, channel splits, and featuring specific content.
• Partner with local retail / creative agencies to develop creative, eye-catching sales campaigns that promote our partner offers and leverage our content. Responsible for the creation of all promotional materials: digital assets, social posts, retail assets, and base communications.
• Ensure we maximize the impact of our marketing campaigns & investments through continuous testing, plus defining corrective activities to improve where needed.
• Alongside the partner marketing, partner solutions, and business development leads, negotiate placements to maximize Netflix exposure across sales channels and partner devices.
• Secure opportunities to engage, train and incentivize sales teams across sales channels (call centers, retail). Explore opportunities to scale this activity and establish best practices across EMEA.
• Direct design and copy throughout Netflix-produced partner asset creation, curation, and delivery.
• Manage marketing tools for regional implementation: toolkits, educational materials, partner portals, and creative case studies.
• Protect Netflix brand attribution/representation as well as usage of owned Netflix and studio content in partner creative in Europe.

Qualifications: The successful candidate should demonstrate the following characteristics:
• Thrive in the Netflix culture;
• Minimum 7 years of experience in trade marketing / retail environment/sales channels (ideally within pay-tv, telecommunication, digital distribution, video games, music industry, etc).
• Fluency in English is required. Fluency in languages spoken across the Benelux and Nordic regions is a big plus.
• In-depth understanding of partner sales channels (including training and incentives).
• Experience in CRM / base management, and up- and cross-sell strategies is a big plus.
• Experience in managing asset creation, curation, and delivery across multiple channels (ideally managing entertainment properties).
• Experience leading and driving partner marketing programs.
• Strong knowledge and interest in both business and creative challenges.
• Great communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously without the support of a large team, working both independently and in close collaboration with a wide variety of internal & external stakeholders.
• Independent, efficient, and highly organized.
• Quick to test and learn without getting bogged down in the process.
• A deep affection for entertainment.
