Job Description

The N-Tech Support Solutions team is focused on implementing automation and technology to help our Operations & Support Specialists teams scale by improving its operations and workflows using data to prioritize and drive our decisions. By leveraging technology to replace manual processes, automate common and repeatable tasks, and introducing tools to help free up our support teams, they will have more time to spend with our end users, giving them more time to create more amazing content to entertain the world.

Ever create workflows or configured bots in Slack to automate tasks? Or have you set up Zapier to integrate Google Forms and Gmail? Maybe you've written a bash or powershell script to replace a list of manual steps or you just really enjoy working with APIs. If you have a passion for automation and improving efficiency, we'd love to meet you.

We are looking for a technical solutions engineer experienced with troubleshooting complex technical issues and automating IT workflows. As Netflix continues to scale, so has our demand for simplifying and automating manual processes. You will work closely with other technical solutions engineers, third-party vendors, and different engineering teams across Netflix to improve N-Tech's operations. You will also handle escalations, analyze tickets, test new hardware and software, and ideate new solutions to growing technical challenges that our support teams face every day across the globe.

• Be the technical expert on our wide array of enterprise SaaS applications and internal tools
• Automate manual IT workflows and redundant processes
• Address and resolve technical escalations from our Operations & Support teams
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand their challenges and develop solutions
• Analyze ticket data to identify trends and develop solutions
• Perform testing of new hardware and software for stability and compatibility
• Working with 3rd party vendors to troubleshoot or implement new tools
• Fully document engineered solutions, workflows, and create runbooks
• Provide training and knowledge transfer
• Participate in team on-call rotation

About you:

• Have a proven track record of simplifying workflows through the use of technology and automation
• Highly technical and experienced administering and deploying IT systems and enterprise applications/SaaS

Experience with:
• Creating and deploying scripts in languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Bash to automate IT workflows such as on/offboarding and user/access provisioning
• API integrations with SaaS applications
• Working with Amazon Web Services
• SAML/SSO (Ping) and OAuth flows
• Network Infrastructure, Information Security, and/or Identity and Access Management
• Google Workspace Admin SDK and APIs
• Developing custom Slack apps/bots
