The Opportunity

The Specialist, Corporate Security Operations will support Netflix's Security Operations, covering Netflix's urban campus in Los Angeles, CA. This opportunity includes standardizing and enhancing guard force operations, strengthening relationships with local / state / federal law enforcement agencies, and optimizing security preparedness and emergency response capabilities. You will be empowered to make things happen and must have a natural inclination to work within a high-performance culture that is fast-paced, dynamic, and self-directed. This position will report to the Security Operations Manager based in Los Angeles.

Responsibilities
• Provide support to Netflix security, cross-functional counterparts, and external partners on all physical security matters impacting assigned sites
• Remain up-to-date on the local security environment and identify emerging security trends which may impact the business
• Manage and maintain contract security provider program from RFP development through contract negotiation, training, analysis, and execution
• Liaise with existing landlord contract security and surrounding property owners
• Manage and develop a multi-vendor / consultant network and leverage existing network to ensure appropriate solutions are in place to minimize business risk
• Implement security requirements to support special events team during employee and public-facing events to ensure appropriate levels of security coverage
• Update, implement, and rehearse incident and emergency response plans
• Draft timely and accurate situation reports and written briefings for senior leadership

Qualifications
• Extensive experience in a physical security role (risk management, loss prevention, emergency preparedness, military, law enforcement)
• Proven success in leading direct reports and contracted guards (both union and non-union)
• Associates or Bachelor degree preferred; relevant certifications (ex. CPP) a plus
• Excellent communication and writing skills
• Can work independently and drive results in an agile environment
• Ability to collaborate effectively with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures
• Experience with providing support to HR & Legal including investigations, onboarding / offboarding processes, background screening
• General understanding of physical and technical security systems
• Can work on a high functioning team in pursuit of common goals
• Bilingual is highly preferred
