Job Description
About the team:
We innovate on delivery orchestration, real-time metrics derived from a firehose of user events, and analysis on these metrics enabling the client engineers to focus on frequently releasing their applications. Our application releases are an AB test (more details available in the Safe Updates of Client Applications at Netflix blog post). We are constantly evolving our allocation strategy, metrics, and inferential analysis to account for the constraints that impact our use case. As we invested in systems to continuously evaluate application changes, it led to increased development velocity, which arguably led to better development practices and quality of the applications. We are extending these systems to be available beyond our streaming business domain, exposing us to a plethora of new challenges, making every single day at work an opportunity to learn and build something new.
About the role
We are building a platform that pushes developer confidence closer and closer to the moment of development. This journey began with a deep investment in real-time metrics and analysis of production changes by leveraging A/B Canaries. We are now in the early stages of using what we measure to improve every aspect of the software development lifecycle. Our goal is to simplify the process of releasing high-quality software at scale, allowing engineers to focus entirely on their features.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Build, enhance, and unify the integration and release processes for our TV, web, and mobile platforms.
• Design and manage the automation of pipelines, observability, and infrastructure.
• Instrument, measure, monitor, and analyze metrics related to build and release processes.
• Develop Service Level Indicators (SLIs) and Service Level Objectives (SLOs) for pipelines, automation, and infrastructure.
• Foster and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and partner teams.
Qualifications:
• 7+ years of relevant experience in software development.
• In-depth knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, with hands-on experience using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Spinnaker, or CircleCI.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Expertise in cloud infrastructure platforms, including AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Azure.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible, Terraform, or AWS CloudFormation.
• Experience with observability tools such as Kibana, Grafana, or Tableau.
• Proficiency in scripting languages, including Bash, JavaScript, or Groovy.
More about you:
• Passion for enhancing developer experience and increasing development speed through effective continuous integration and delivery practices.
• Experience in leading and innovating significant aspects of the integration and release processes, particularly within large-scale environments
