Senior UI Engineer - Studio Programming and Finance

Job Description

Studio UI builds the user experiences used by our internal and external creative partners producing Netflix's original content. With over 200 million members and growing, our UIs enable the entire workflow of content production, from pitch to play, and provide innovative new ways to develop and manage entertainment at scale.

The Studio Programming and Finance UI team works closely with the finance people directly involved with the production of our award winning TV shows and movies. It also enables Netflix Studios as we continue to expand our content budget ($12+ billion this year!) and helps make amazing content at scale. We do this by working cross functionally with backend engineering, Product, Design and our Business partners to build solutions for their needs. People who do well on this team are self-motivated engineers with a passion for our business and for technology innovation. We look for individuals who are good team players with deep knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, and HTML. They are comfortable writing custom JavaScript but also know when to apply off-the-shelf solutions to the problem. We also value people who are passionate about user experience and have an eye for improving the UI. We currently work with TypeScript, React, GraphQL, and Node.js, however the ability to adapt with changing technology is an important strength.

Location of work: Remote. We value what you can do, from anywhere in the United States.
