As Netflix continues to grow and expand, we are looking for a talented team member to become an integral part of the Tax Transformation team. We are seeking an experienced Senior Analyst to provide tax technology and operational support on a diverse range of global tax automation and enablement projects. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently and have excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills, as well as strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.

The role will be based in either Los Angeles or Los Gatos and will report to the Tax

Transformation Senior Manager.

Responsibilities:
• This role will be responsible for identifying, designing, and building various technology enablement projects within the tax department to increase efficiencies in tax processes.
• Develop a good understanding of various technologies, systems, and tools to ensure the successful completion and deployment of projects.
• Build and maintain tax automations and system solutions using tools like Google Apps, Script, Alteryx, Robotic Process Automation (i.e. UiPath, Automation Anywhere), Power BI/Tableau, etc.
• Assist with user acceptance testing on tax systems or data/reports from non-tax systems.
• Understand, create, and maintain complex data analytic structures using tools like Tableau or Power BI to drive business insights into tax data by consolidating disparate data sources and tables in a cohesive and informative story.
• Work within ERP systems, proprietary systems, and large databases to create custom tables, schedules, and/or reports that can be leveraged for downstream tax processes.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (Tax, FinTech, legal, finance, treasury, accounting, etc.) and external advisors to identify, develop, and deploy technology solutions for the tax department.

Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience working in the tax or finance technology in industry or consulting.
• Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Accounting or a related field.
• Prior experience working with big data (e.g., Azure, SQL databases), data lakes/warehouses, and tax-specific software and tools (e.g., OneSource, Vertex) preferred.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, etc) is strongly preferred. Exposure to Workday as an ERP system is not required but is a plus.
• Self-starter with the ability to juggle multiple projects with minimal supervision and produce high-quality work product in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong communication and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

The overall market range for roles in this area of Netflix is typically $60,000 - $290,000.
