Job Description
The Role
We are seeking a Senior Analyst to provide project management leadership for our tax planning projects. The ideal candidate will have Tax and Accounting technical and analytical skills, strong organizational and communication skills, and excellent attention to detail. In this role, you will need to be a self-starter who is skillful in managing large-scale complex projects, and communicating and collaborating with cross-functional business partners with varying backgrounds and levels of experience. A successful candidate will be able to manage complex workflows that involve multiple stakeholders and build strong relationships within Tax and across the company.
Responsibilities:
• Act as a primary tax liaison with the finance program management organization to ensure alignment and efficient implementation of planning and corporate reorganization projects.
• Act as a primary tax liaison with the Corporate Development and Integration Management Office to proactively work to support M&A initiatives and integration processes.
• Work as a representative of and part of the tax planning team for complex projects to coordinate tax inputs across relevant tax organizations and develop a cohesive, consistent messaging for the tax organization.
• Work closely with technical accounting, consol accounting, statutory accounting and tax operations to ensure alignment and understanding of accounting and tax implications.
• Act as a global point of contact for x-functional meetings and communications (e.g., Corporate Structure Meetings, Project Updates and Newsletters).
• Identify and develop process improvements for tax planning projects.
Qualifications:
• 6-8+ years of relevant experience in tax, particularly in planning and implementation of tax projects or corporate reorganization initiatives.
• Curiosity and interest in different areas of tax, particularly in areas that you may not be as familiar with.
• Ability to process and integrate business objectives with tax strategies, and effectively communicate tax requirements to cross-functional partners.
• Ability to quickly learn new information and connect the dots on how such info could impact other tax or cross-functional teams.
• Ability to coordinate work across diverse and geographically dispersed teams.
• Ability to develop and sustain cross-functional relationships with Tax and non-Tax groups.
Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $50,000-240,000
