About the Role

The Screenings Senior Manager will spearhead a team that is responsible for asset creation and screenings execution. They will oversee a team of technical experts who work in tandem with Post Production, Content and PR partners to bring exemplary creative presentations to screen, both at in-person and virtual events. They have a deep bench of technical knowledge and strong people management skills; with a proven track record working first-hand on the creation, development and execution of high profile film & series events.

They will be responsible for managing and executing systems workflows and vendor management all while overseeing and up-leveling the work of their team. We are looking for someone who can establish a long term vision for the team, is truly innovative, highly strategic and can mobilize a team to realize the big picture vision. We are looking for people who are excellent communicators, have flexible management methods and ultimately have a vision for the team as well as individual growth for team members. Beyond technical expertise, we are looking for a leader with strong business acumen and strategic thinking.

The successful candidate will be able to fulfill the roles and responsibilities of a senior leader, including helping their team navigate ambiguity by providing high-level context while enabling team members to make sound judgment calls. They will look to provide impact through scale by developing/maintaining workflow systems and building external partnerships. As a lead, they will also provide support to their team on some of their events.

The Work
• Oversee Screenings Team strategy for the short and long term, in line with business needs
• Function as a strategic thought partner within Events & Screenings to Publicity, Awards, Post-Production, Content Services, Globalization and Product
• Lead cross-functional as well as cross-regional debate and collaboration
• Foster cross-functional partnerships and take strategic approaches to achieve big impact, high screening quality and support for overall event and screenings goals
• Lead ongoing roles & responsibilities discussions, grow, nurture and develop the group and manage expectations setting and discussions for their team
• Provide mentorship to less tenured team members across the Events & Screenings team to support their work and ideation
• Forecast budgets based on title prioritization and oversee team budget
• Oversee title staffing and day to day team management
• Oversee vendor relations on designated projects and billing efficiencies
• Collaborates, ideates, and aligns with cross-functional teams to anticipate, create, communicate and implement best practices and workflows for evolving screenings needs
• Sees the bigger picture with strong business acumen and a holistic understanding of the company, PR, title campaigns and event goals to guide the team's goals and growth
• Oversee the design and execution of large digital cinema installations for premieres and screenings worldwide, which include projection and theater sound systems
• Available to attend events and troubleshoot issues on both nights and weekends as needed
• Travel will be required for oversight at events

The Candidate
• 13+ years of entertainment experience, leading teams within a studio, network, media services company or agency, with at least 8 years within APAC
• An understanding of the CTV/OTT/Streaming landscape is preferred
• Strong people management and leadership experience including coaching and developing diverse talent, managing both up and down, and providing constructive feedback
• Is an inclusive leader who is sensitive to cultural nuances and D&I aspects
• Ability to work in a highly cross-functional environment to drive stakeholder alignment and scaled communications; often contributing to leadership debates and forums
• Have executive communication skills to be able to clearly articulate complex, technical and strategic ideas to peers and leadership teams
• Ability to develop and implement innovative & scalable ideas; partner with agencies; and handle a heavy volume of work, supervising several projects in tandem with creative problem solving abilities
• Have relationships with key vendors as well as the ability to build and maintain connections with new sectors of the business
• Have a business strategy and entrepreneurial mindset, and is eager to flourish in our unique company culture
• Strong expertise in developing, overseeing and executing high profile screenings events, virtually, in-person and hybrid
• Strong technical knowledge across: digital cinema (DCPs, KDMs/DKDMs, theatrical aspect ratios); digital audio and video file formats and creation software (Resolve, FCP, Avid, Adobe); and post production imaging (Color Space, DI, P3 vs Rec709) and sound workflows (Nearfield and Theatrical mixes)
• Strong organizational skills and ability to roll up your sleeves to get things done
• Ability to work well under pressure while remaining flexible and nimble
• Excellent communication in Korean and English
