The Media Systems Engineering team is focused on the design, build, delivery, maintenance and refresh of the technology systems present in Netflix creative environments globally. We deploy systems present in both our Corporate and Studio facilities. We aim to deliver both creatively and technically optimized spaces that empower our end users on the creative, content, and product teams to actualize their ideas. This is achieved through close partnership with Design & Construction, Finance, Space Planning, and Workplace, to realize that collective vision. Our system designs are based on our global standards which we have developed in collaboration with our trusted partners and stakeholders.

As a Project Manager within the Netflix Technology Services (N-Tech), Media Systems Engineering team, you will work directly with our team of engineers to help organize multiple projects, optimizing the execution of any associated tasks. You will also provide strong accountability management for the many ongoing MSE initiatives; including but not limited to financial recording, project deliverables, logistics, and ongoing team growth initiatives, globally. You will partner cross-functionally to identify the scope of each project and work with the engineers to drive execution. Additional responsibilities include tracking changes in scope, timeline or budget and communicating those updates proactively, concisely, and consistently with the rest of the team. Updates are shared both in team meetings and through documentation.

Responsibilities
• Contract initiation with external resourcing
• Communication, and management of all relevant project documentation
• Change order submissions
• Purchase Order Requisitions
• Oversight of vendor management, establishing communication cadence, resource need and allocation
• Onboarding and offboarding of external MSE project vendors
• All financial tracking and coordination with both the project team and our contracted vendor team
• Responsible for attending cross-functional meetings with all finance partners as the Informed Captain for Media Systems Engineering
• Will be expected to attend construction & project-level meetings as an informed representative of MSE
• Work with Engineers to develop documentation and project deliverables
• Maintain alignment between MSE and vendors throughout the project
• Actively maintain alignment with your MSE colleagues globally
• Drive roadmap delivery and development in partnership with the rest of the team
• Provide concise, proactive updates regarding overall status, issues, risks, and recommended actions.
• You will also help develop, communicate, and train/implement project management approaches

Education & Experience
• BS/BA and/or relevant experience
• Additional Nice-to-haves: PMI/PMP certification or other project certifications (i.g. Agile, Scrum, Sigma, etc.) are a plus, Experience using JIRA or similar platforms
Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $100,000- $720,000.
