Product Designer, Enterprise Software Engineering

The Enterprise Software Engineering (ESE) team is focused on building enterprise solutions to drive productivity, efficiency and effectiveness of our customers. We are obsessed with user experience and like to build simple and intuitive products. We focus on building business automation and deep interactive workflows that replace complex manual processes.

We are looking for a Product Designer to join the team and help build the next generation of enterprise products. In this role, you will focus on design strategy, vision and develop creative experiences for Netflix employees and corporate teams.

About You:

You are curious, creative and have experience creating user focused designs. You have a keen eye for rich interactive product experiences, act as a champion for the users and enable workflow optimizations through simple and intuitive designs. You are highly adaptable and when faced with challenges, you become more creative, not less. You are execution oriented and bring projects from concept to completion, doing everything possible to ensure successful product launches.

You have a can-do attitude. You're smart, confident and a skilled communicator who welcomes honest and candid feedback. You use data and experimentation to select the best designs for our customers. You partner with PMs, engineers and stakeholders to evangelize creative design solutions and bring these to fruition. You champion adoption of best design practices to keep our products on the cutting edge of innovation.

Responsibilities:
• Quickly develop a deep understanding of Netflix Enterprise domains.
• Juggle multiple projects by leading and creating design experiences.
• Lead user research to gain deeper understanding of and empathy for our user pain points.
• Empathy for user experience and creating highly interactive user flows.
• Understand user challenges and communicate design concepts through storytelling.
• Iterate on designs in close collaboration with product managers, engineering and business partners.
• Develop trusting relationships with PM, engineering, and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineering throughout the development cycle to iterate on and deliver highest quality product experiences.

Requirements:
• BA/BS in fine arts, graphic arts, human factors or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years creating consumer-friendly interactive designs.
• A great portfolio that showcases deep interaction design skills with an emphasis on simple and intuitive designs concepts
• Able to rapidly produce multiple UX/UI concepts
• Strong communication style to clearly articulate your concepts with rationale-and evangelize on users behalf.
• Experience designing web and mobile products.
• Design with an ability to balance short term and long term product goals
• Experience designing consumer and/or enterprise products
