At Netflix's Product Brand team, our mission is to revolutionize the way our brand is created and presented in product experiences, finding new ways for prospective and current Netflix members to discover our brand through creative visual design, video editorial, product UI and sound design. If you love moving quickly, designing for products and features that don't yet exist, and have the craft to elevate the experiences we all enjoy, then this might be the right fit for you!

We're looking for an out of the box visual executor to lead Product Brand projects, with a focus on (but not excluded to) visual design and product UI. In this role, you will both direct and develop -- acting as both art director and visual designer. You will explore and create new types of visual assets, brand elements and promotional content - playing with tone, formats, graphics, art direction and themes for members and new user experiences. You will be part of a team that's rethinking and exploring how our brand can come to life in the product.

In this role you will...
• Act as: Art Director, Creative Strategist, Visual Designer, UI designer -- all in one
• Own both the strategic conceptual work, as well as proof-of-concept development and visual design work within our core brand elements on service
• Be part of an internal team within Product Brand and partner closely with the Core Brand and XD teams

• You are a curious ideator, creator, innovator who constantly seeks new challenges and loves to think outside the box
• You are a creative self-starter who has the ability to self-direct a creative project from completion to end without heavy oversight
• Must be strong in building design systems with top-notch visual skills across all platforms
• Excellent hands on design execution across platforms
• Innovates and visualizes new ways of merging content and product
• 5+ years art direction experience art directing others and managing the output (studio, agency, freelance, or in-house)
• Can speak to and contextualize the why behind your design decisions
• Familiarity and experience working on brand, editorial, advertising, and product experiences
• Inspires and aligns the cross-functional team with a design vision, communicating and understanding the sequencing of getting to that ultimate vision
• Must be highly collaborative and able to maintain creative excellence in a fast-paced, ever changing landscape
• Passion for content, art, new media and/or entertainment

Technical expertise
• Fluency in core design tools (Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Understanding of designing for web, mobile, and other platforms

Nice-to-Haves...
• Knowledge of production (video, photography)
• Experience in prototyping and motion graphics
