The Canada PR Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the Canadian PR team. Our ideal candidate will be self-motivated, proactive, quick-thinking, flexible, able to pivot when necessary and can juggle multiple and diverse responsibilities with a strong emphasis on organization.

This is a fast-moving position that requires someone who is always curious, takes initiative and has a strong bias to action, and demonstrates strong communication skills. The job is based in Toronto and reports to the PR Director for Canada.

The work:
• Updating existing corporate documents and creating new ones that elevate our work
• Maintaining departmental files including news announcement calendar, project calendar and other key documents
• Drafting announcements, briefing materials, and messaging documents, and corresponding with internal and external partners
• Compiling coverage reports and campaign recaps
• Support junket, festival, premiere, and press day activities including prep, day-of logistics and other outreach as required
• Contribute to corporate communications functions including outreach with stakeholders, drafting newsletters, blog posts and other documents on an ongoing basis.
• Support press needs with asset and publicity materials, assisting with interview schedules.
• Brainstorming media pitches, researching press contacts and staying up to date on the entertainment landscape and trends

Qualifications:
• The successful candidate for the Canada PR Coordinator will have 3-5+ years experience in publicity and/or consumer communications in a progressive environment like: in-house, agency, media & entertainment, and/or tech industries
• Experience handling a high volume of complex projects and tasks for multiple people, departments and teams while simultaneously managing competing priorities
• A clear and concise communication style and can effectively convey complex ideas written and verbally
• Meticulous organizational skills, good judgement in the face of ambiguity, and a positive and proactive approach

COMPENSATION
Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $70,000 - $350,000.
