Job Description

At Netflix, we are continually striving to expand our operational scale in order to bring our stories to the right audience at the right time all over the world. The Scale Operations team is a small, highly nimble group that provides essential asset fulfillment, systems & title management, and operational expertise to support standardized workflows on a global scale. Our focus is on ensuring efficient delivery of artwork and video assets through automation, optimization, and externalization of work to key vendor partners. We are looking for a driven and experienced operational specialist to join our team.

Primary Responsibilities
• Manage project tactics, workflows & operations of ongoing artwork and video asset fulfillment and localization needs related to current Scale Ops workflows and new business needs
• Demonstrate proactive, consistent, reliable and clear communication to all project stakeholders (including updating dashboards/trackers)
• Become well-versed and adept in the Netflix internal tooling ecosystem in order to set-up, ingest, track, approve/reject, and troubleshoot assets (artwork, metadata, video, etc.)
• Proactively advise partners on feasibility and/or risk factors for workflow standardization, externalization, and optimization
• Create, maintain and contribute to asset documentation (e.g. specs, workflow guides, training documentation) for broader use
• Oversee vendor-managed workflows and escalate issues with tactical execution and overall performance
• Track and measure team performance and impact to determine opportunity areas. Use these perspectives & learnings to brainstorm recommendations and solutions.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
• Adept at general project management capabilities, such as: roadmapping & timeline management, and project health maintenance
• Highly comfortable learning and mastering new software/tools
• Experience working with vendors and/or managing vendor relationships
• Ability to operate effectively in ambiguity and willingness to pivot workflows as needed
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and exceptional attention to detail
• Experience collaborating with different teams to successfully accomplish shared goals
