Job Description

Title Operations' core focus is to launch titles efficiently and accurately by ensuring readiness across our entire suite of Product assets (content A/V, subtitles, dubbed audio, promotional videos, imagery and metadata). The team accomplishes this by ensuring milestones are hit, risks are mitigated when there are exceptions, all while project-managing and communicating with internal and external stakeholders.

Netflix is seeking a manager to lead a growing team of Title Operations Project Managers based in Mexico and Brazil. You will be part of a larger Product Creative Operations leadership team who innovate approaches to tooling, workflow structures, vendors, and quality assurance so that we can work smarter and increase efficiency and quality.

As this position is the only operations-focused leadership role in LATAM, your role will extend to become a representative of the Product organization to which we belong and the Netflix product itself, educating and advocating to our cross-functional partners. You will need to develop strong relationships with our colleagues in Content and Marketing in order to positively influence title launches.

This role is based in Netflix's Mexico City office.

In this role you will:
• Inspire your team with the vision and business goals for the larger org and Netflix
• Develop and influence new workflow paths to increase global operational scale
• Assess and analyze forecasts to determine operational strategy
• Own strategic planning, prioritization and implementation for your own team's vision and goals
• Mentor team members in their personal and professional development by matching them to opportunities and providing consistent feedback
• Develop and empower leaders on your team
• Effectively communicate context, priorities (and trade-offs) to your team and partner teams
• Lead the team through change and pivot quickly as needed
• Support your team as a resource for escalation and remove roadblocks
• Drive and lead the team through change that will scale the business
• Encourage and model risk taking, data-informed decision making, and constant innovation
• Advocate on behalf of the team and build strong bridges with cross-functional partners

Requirements:
• Advanced written and spoken English & Spanish
• 8+ years of people and organizational management at a global company working across LATAM, understanding regional and cultural nuances
• Has in-depth experience in LATAM, preferably have spent time living and working in the region
• A proven track record of improving operations in a product-centric digital company, displayed by a data-driven approach
• Relationship management know-how across internal teams from business to marketing to engineering and product, as well as external partners
• A hunger to learn all things Product and apply operational scale to those areas
• Clear communication and ability to manage expectations
• Success in driving and leading teams through change
• A curiosity to learn other parts of the business that will better inform yours
• A mindset bent toward constant process improvement
• The ability to adapt to the Netflix culture and values
• Great interpersonal skills with the ability to voice opinions and give feedback
• Ability to travel to our headquarters in California and Alphaville, Brazil for collaboration when needed
