We are looking for a Manager in Retail Marketing to oversee the marketing team and serve as the lead for any CP marketing touchpoints of the Netflix brand and/or content globally. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, with the overall goal of ensuring that Netflix consumer products are an extension of title brand campaigns and delivering on our promise to create fan joy.

Key responsibilities:
• Owns global CP marketing strategy for our content across all general merchandise (e.g. toys, collectibles, consumables, apparel, etc) in collaboration with our regional leads in EMEA, LATAM and eventually APAC.
• Develops marketing strategies that maximize our title and portfolio output, achieving a balance between driving consumer demand (a proxy for fan joy) and delivering meaningful revenue.
• Drive full omnichannel consumer journey from in-store communication, to e-commerce, social commerce etc.
• Responsible for Retail Marketing team management and development.
• Be an internal and external champion of the opportunity and vision with regards to our marketing strategy and push for innovation, out-of-the box ideas and unique campaigns.
• Serve as the right hand to the Sales team when selling in programs.
• Responsible for retail budget.
• Lead internal marketing brainstorms.
• Manage outside vendors for project work such as retail toolkits, retail creative etc.
• Take a creative-friendly approach to marketing and ensure appropriate internal stakeholders are involved in key marketing decisions.
• Act as senior thought partner with key internal teams, including close collaboration with Licensing, Product Development, Legal, PR, Social & Editorial Teams, Brand Strategy, Content Marketing and Brand Partnerships.
• Identify and share latest consumer and retail marketing trends, insights and retailer marketing strategies.
• Key contributor to retail marketing post mortems, programs and pitch decks.
• Serve as main marketing contact for agency (managing international business) on all marketing approvals.
• Partner with retailers and licensees on all marketing programs.

What we need from you:
• Demonstrated, 8+ years of experience in building and owning retail marketing strategies and executions at a reputable entertainment brand (studio, retailer, agency).
• Experience in traditional retail marketing and brand marketing campaigns
• Bachelor's or advanced degree (preferred).
• Strong network of industry contacts within retail, marketing and licensing.
• Deep retailer relationships and knowledge of their marketing strategies (Target, Walmart, Amazon, Specialty, H&M, Primark, Inditex Group etc.).
• Deep connection to latest trends, innovator and out-of-the-box thinker
• Self Starter with strong passion, who is able to work in a fast paced environment and able to navigate despite ambiguity.
• International experience (preferred).
