Manager, Production Security

Job Description

The Production Security & Intelligence Team supports our studio functions globally, including Netflix Original Productions across all verticals. This LA-based role will report to the regional Director of Production Security & Intelligence. The role will be instrumental in assessing risk to an evolving production strategy in a dynamic and exciting UCAN region.

Responsibilities:
• Evaluate production plans for security needs and coordinate local support
• Utilize analysis of global security events to keep Netflix productions secure and resilient
• Engage with relevant local stakeholders and drive the regional production/talent security vendor portfolio
• Develop/review risk assessments and security guidelines and design security plans and specialized guidance for higher-risk production activities and in higher-risk locations
• Maintain collaborative relationships with key production stakeholders
• Maintain relationships with relevant Local/State/Federal law enforcement, emergency response, and trusted security networks

Qualifications:
• 10 years of relevant experience, which can include security, intelligence, military, media production, or NGO; with a focus on regional security issues
• Advanced degree, in Security Studies, International Relations, or related subject preferred
• Experience with production, media/entertainment, or content creation a plus
• Demonstrated body of work related to security issues
• Must be business fluent in English; additional language proficiency a plus

Ability to:
• Interpret regional security signals and data, and conduct risk assessments
• Maintain an awareness of risk trends affecting the global entertainment sector
• Communicate relevant analysis and forecasting to key stakeholders
• Interact with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
• Travel regionally and internationally as required (approximately 25%)
