Job Description

The Marketing Financial Planning & Analysis (MFP&A) team is looking for a Manager to join the team in Los Angeles. This position will be an integrated business partner that will be responsible for financial planning and strategic decision-making for Netflix's US marketing team. Marketing leadership relies on the MFP&A team to accurately forecast expenses as well as inform important business decisions with actionable insights.

In this role, you will need to be a self-starter with tremendous skill in working and communicating with cross-functional partners who have different backgrounds, levels, and experiences. A successful candidate will be able to manage complex workstreams that involve multiple stakeholders, and build strong relationships across teams. RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop near and long-term marketing expense forecasts for Netflix in the United States and Canada
• Create insightful presentations to summarize analyses and facilitate decision-making for marketing leadership
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and be able to effectively communicate forecasts and insights into expense trends with recommendations on next steps and action items
• Become proficient in our planning system (Anaplan) and contribute to system enhancements
• Engage, educate, and assist marketing stakeholders in budget planning processes and tools
• Forecast overhead costs, including developing activity-based workforce models and working cross functionally to forecast organizational needs

REQUIREMENTS
• 10+ years of relevant experience in FP&A. Prior media/entertainment or marketing experience is preferred but not required
• Verbal and written proficiency in English required; clear and concise communication abilities required; experience in communicating internationally a plus
• Experience leading and building teams
• Extensive experience conducting quantitative and qualitative financial analysis and delivering actionable recommendations based on the analysis
• Superior proficiency in Excel & complex financial modelling
• Prior experience working with or reporting analysis to high-level stakeholders
• Sound working knowledge of related accounting policies preferred
• Motivated and disciplined to work effectively and autonomously
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and tolerate ambiguity and shifting requirements
• Highest personal and professional standards of integrity and ethics
• 4-year degree in a relevant field with strong academic performance (Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics); MBA a plus
