The Opportunity:
We are looking for a stunning finance leader to manage Finance Procurement Operations (FPO) for our Finance Business Partner team in EMEA. The ideal candidate has experience leading and developing teams, a strong understanding of accounting treatment, experience supporting efficient P2P workflows, can drive innovative process improvements to scale, has the courage to question the status quo, ability to influence FPO strategies (e.g. location strategy, cost optimization, etc), and is highly skilled at developing strong cross-functional relationships with business partners across various functions (FP&A, Accounting, Marketing/Publicity and IT).

This role leads a team of Finance Procurement Operations business partners who work closely with the following cross-functional teams:
• Business stakeholders – FPO is an embedded resource that understands the nature of the business they are supporting and provides the following procurement support: reviewing and re-negotiating contracts, supplier management, creating purchase orders, reviewing invoices, expense reporting, and being an active contributor to various teams
• Accounts Payable – FPO BPs create POs and provide non-PO invoice coding to enable timely and accurate invoice processing.
• FP&A – FPO plays a role in ensuring accurate coding to provide meaningful reporting, track actuals effectively to budget including monitoring and explaining material variances and identify opportunities to use data to drive informed business decisions.
• Accounting – FPO facilitates a timely and accurate month-end close by owning the PO accrual process and explaining variance drivers.
• Systems – FPO participates in designing, simplifying and automating finance and payment workflows as well as partnering on system enhancements to automate workflows to scale.
Responsibilities Include:
• Manage a team including hiring, promoting, performance management, project delegation, coaching and development
• Work with functional FPO leaders to ensure we are closely aligned on strategic priorities across multiple functions (Product, G&A, MarComms, and Studio).
• Review and provide spend analysis to executives including historical, left-to-spend, actuals, vendor trends, etc.
• Establish ledger coding structure and hierarchies to ensure most meaningful tagging of spend for management reporting and decision-making utilizing Workday
• Understand local nuances and drive efficiencies in processes to help the organization scale operations.
• Oversee month-end close process ensuring accuracy and completeness of marketing expense accrual and reconciliation of accounting and planning systems; includes budget to actuals variance analyses
• Develop team goals and objectives, including measuring key results and building accountability
• Review workflows to scale for growth including process review, enhancement and/or automation in procure to pay, legal, systems and controls
• Partner with multiple stakeholders across regions (UCAN, LATAM, EMEA and APAC) including Business Stakeholders, Accounts Payable, Legal, Tax and Corporate Accounting teams to ensure accurate coding and classification of T&D expense for external reporting, meaningful internal reporting, timely payments to vendors and consistency in workflows across regions
Qualifications:
• 10+ years relevant experience in Procurement, Accounting, Finance
• Experience leading and developing cross functional teams and engaging with leaders to ensure regional priorities can be executed
• Outstanding strategic skills and critical thinker with the ability to influence and demonstrate troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Excellent project management and comfortable in a fast-paced rapidly expanding environment with minimal direction, with the ability to adjust resources based upon changing priorities
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships
• Courage to give direct and timely feedback
