We're on the hunt for a passionate and talented ESG professional to join the EMEA Financial Reporting team in Amsterdam. In this role, this person will be responsible for working with internal and external stakeholders to drive the reporting of Netflix's ESG strategy, commitments, and performance under the various mandatory frameworks and regulations. The ESG Reporting Manager will be based in Amsterdam and will report to the Director, Financial Reporting EMEA. This role is positioned for growth as we start building our ESG reporting practice.

We're looking for someone who can help drive our ESG reporting compliance obligations across our legal entities, in the broadest sense of the word, including:
• Support and work on a long-term roadmap for our reporting & financial risk management to ensure compliance with CSRD and other regulations that are applicable to Netflix
• Prepare and implement/execute compliant CSRD reporting as of 2025 within Netflix.
• Closely monitor CSRD and other regulatory developments, interpretations, and best practices
• Help draft and develop Netflix's CSRD (ESG) reporting as of 2025, in close partnership with Sustainability (E), Inclusion & Diversity (S), and Legal (G), our ESG Director, and other cross-functional areas. This includes building a reporting governance and leading Netflix's external audit of this mandatory ESG reporting with our external auditors
• Creating a scalable and high-impact reporting process together with our main internal stakeholders including assessing the right tooling for data gathering and reporting
• Coordinating and partnering cross-functionally on developing external ESG reporting, such as double materiality reports, SASB reporting, TCFD reporting, etc.

• A great communicator and team player who is versatile, and self-motivated, with the ability to build relationships with colleagues and cross-functional partners
• Curious and enthusiastic and is not afraid to ask questions and challenge the status quo
• Excellent business communications and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey our strategy and influence other stakeholders
• Flexible to collaborate with our offices across multiple time zones

Education and Experience
• 8 to 12 years of experience in reporting, (sustainable) finance, accounting and compliance, or governance-focused roles, such as ESG consulting or corporate governance, and a passion for ESG reporting
• Bachelor / Master's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Law, Political Science, Environmental or Social Studies, Policy. A post-graduate degree such as RA/ RC/ ACCA/ CPA/ MBA, or other related fields is strongly preferred
• Knowledge of key ESG reporting frameworks, e.g., SASB, CDP, ISSB, GRI, TCFD, SFDR but also financial reporting frameworks such as IFRS, US GAAP, and/or any other local GAAP in EMEA
• Proven track record of managing and implementing successful ESG reporting readiness and gap assessment projects by building alignment across internal stakeholders and engaging with external advisors
• Significant experience working in a global and matrixed organization, with insight and sensitivity to cultural differences
