Job Description
The Queue Social Marketing Manager role is a creative and organized person that will bring a passionate perspective to the social strategy for Netflix Queue's handles. This person should be highly engaged with the entertainment industry and can confidently treat premier titles and talent with care and precision. Strong social editorial judgment is a must. The Queue Social Manager is responsible for developing a social strategy that inspires cross-functional teams, drives big thinking and creates cohesion across every touchpoint of Queue Social.

In addition, Queue Social Manager is also expected to contribute to broader Queue and Editorial & Publishing + Awards tactics beyond Social campaigns and pursue learning & development opportunities to consistently grow and evolve as a Netflix marketer.

Core Responsibilities:

Strategic Development:
• Develop and maintain an editorial tone and perspective for the Netflix Queue handles that matches the needs of an awards voter and entertainment insider audience
• Keep your finger on the pulse of culture across different platforms and audiences, and find ways for us to participate in relevant conversations
• Regularly interact with and get buy-in from filmmakers, talent, and press to build understanding and trust of Netflix Queue and the overall editorial initiative at Netflix

Creative Excellence:
• Working in direct partnership with the Netflix Queue Journal team and Title teams to produce beautiful Social-first creative. This includes but not limited to:
• Ideating Social Capture on Original Queue Shoots
• Working with a team of designers, social producers, and animators to create bespoke assets for each Queue Journal Feature across Twitter and Instagram
• Innovating new repeatable formats and content captures that can be reused on the Journal Site (For Ex: Queue & A series)
• Innovate new approaches to title campaign support and work directly with CM, PR, and Awards leadership to determine what assets work best for Queue

Communication:
• Clearly communicate different facets of the Queue strategy to executive, internal cross-functional stakeholder and talent incorporating feedback and direction when appropriate.

Campaign Management:
• Manage overall Queue Social scope, including budget and timing, and resources from inception to finishing.

Curiosity & Continued Development:
• Maintain a healthy curiosity for areas outside of your Social responsibilities - participating in the development and execution of broader business tactics when available.

Skills and Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in building strategic and creative marketing campaigns,
• Experience in Film AND Awards campaigning is a PLUS
• A history of managing and leading medium to large agency teams in a fast paced and relationship focused environment.
• Experience managing a high volume of campaign types in parallel, while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Strong interpersonal, creative, presentation, problem solving, negotiating, influencing, facilitation, organizational, prioritization, decision making, analytical and conflict resolution skills.
• Passion for movies, series, pop culture and storytelling is a must.
