The Content Strategy & Analysis team is highly visible across the company and in particular to the senior leadership of Netflix who depend heavily on the strategic insights from the Content Strategy & Analysis team to inform important business decisions across the company. The team is looking for a Manager to join it's Original Film team. with a specific focus on deal analysis.
This Manager role will have a specific focus on deal analysis, structuring and innovation for the fast-growing Original Film team. Working closely with both the Content team and Business & Legal Affairs, this Manager will be responsible for Film specific, talent compensation analyses (e.g., ultimates and participation modeling) as well as being an important thought leader in our approach to talent compensation in the future.
This role will reside in Netflix's Hollywood office.
Responsibilities:
• Lead team focused on deal analysis and valuation of new talent deals in partnership with the Content and Business Affairs teams
• Conduct analyses and make recommendations on talent compensation for a given title, as well as the slate more broadly
• Build, own and innovate on tools and analytical models
• Conduct market research, track and compile industry trends and competitive analysis, particularly related to talent compensation
• Serve as a thought leader and the primary analytical engine as we work with Content & Business & Legal Affairs teams to design the ideal future-state of how we compensate talent at Netflix
Qualifications:
• Extensive experience at a traditional film studio conducting film ultimates & participation modelling
• Exceptional proficiency with MS Excel & PowerPoint
• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, mathematics, statistics or other relevant field that demonstrates quantitative orientation. MBA preferred but not required.

• Netflix is fast-growing with a flat organizational structure, which means that employees are often asked to perform tasks with a range of difficulties. The ideal candidate would be prepared to regularly ''roll up their sleeves'' to perform more routine tasks in the same day that they are asked to prepare analysis and a presentation to the executives of the company. Candidate must be motivated, disciplined, and be able to work effectively autonomously.
