Job Description

We're looking to hire a manager of film and series awards strategy, with an emphasis on publicity. This person will be a seasoned publicist who has worked in British and/or European publicity for 10+ years, who enjoys strategising and executing awards campaigns for films, documentaries & series. This is a very hands-on role, one where we want you to throw the playbook out the window and push to innovate with us.

The Role

The Manager, Awards & Talent Relations - EMEA will play a key role in strategising and managing the global awards strategy outside North America for our film, documentary and series teams, an important facet of our business. They will be a member of a small, seasoned group of professionals. The opportunity extends into film, series and documentary award campaigns.

The right candidate will also have a deep knowledge in the UK entertainment business and awards voter membership. They're able to think strategically and make informed decisions, when faced with ambiguity, and think strategy. They can articulate what they are - and are not - trying to do. They are a good listener and a real doer. They are organized, thorough and not afraid to get their hands dirty - and that will mean jumping in to handle a wide-ranging slew of tasks.

A good fit in the role has a candid and direct communication style; they are willing to admit to mistakes quickly and openly question values inconsistent with our values.

Qualifications

The successful candidate for Manager, Awards will have at least 10+ years of entertainment experience organizing, planning, executing publicity and awards campaigns, with an agency, studio or broadcaster.

Reporting Relationship

The Manager, Awards will report to the Director, Talent Relations & Awards EMEA, LATAM, APAC.
