The Role
Growth Engineering at Netflix is responsible for driving the continued growth of Netflix's subscriber base and increasing the value we derive from each member. Our work helps users to discover and sign up for Netflix, and maintain their Netflix service. We participate on cross-functional teams focused on acquisition, retention, plans and pricing, user identity, customer support, and more, and provide foundational systems powering all billing, payments processing, and the consumer web application platform at Netflix.

About the team:
Our goal is to provide operational excellence and smooth developer experience across Growth Engineering by implementing
• Optimized processes at every stage of CI/CD, enabling us to deliver high-quality products to our customers frequently and smoothly
• Fully automated deployments from commit to production deployment
• A robust testing strategy that covers various aspects of SDLC
• Tooling for smooth developer experience
• Improve developer productivity by finding gaps and building reliable and scalable solutions
• Comprehensive observability of consumer-facing applications that encompasses monitoring, alerting, logging, tracing and analyzing

While a few members are based in Los Gatos, CA, others work remotely.
Who you are:
• 6+ years of professional experience building and advocating strong CI/CD strategies
• Proficient with Javascript/ Typescript
• Experience running and operating continuous integration systems like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI and others
• Experience defining a testing strategy in partnership with other cross functional partners to build reliable systems
• Passionate about solving developer productivity challenges for engineers. Support team members and partners to boost productivity
• Proven ability to lead projects and communicate with cross-functional partners effectively
• Work closely with product-focused developers to identify gaps
What sets you apart:
• Operational Excellence Champion who can act as a multiplier for our team and our partners
• Self-starter comfortable with identifying opportunities, proactively defining & driving forward-looking roadmaps. Strong sense of ownership in the tools and technology you build
• Deep understanding of automation tools and frameworks

• Experience with JS/TS. Would be nice to have knowledge on Java as we support Full stack development
• Guide the roadmaps of Infrastructure teams according to the specific needs and requirements of product-focused team members
• You strive to elevate the knowledge and skills of yourself and others in a way that fosters an inclusive, collaborative environment. Deeply enjoy working on solutions that empower other engineers in their work
• Thrive in an ambiguous environment and can self-manage and self-prioritize your time, energy, and resources
• Understand engineering is a team sport and actively farm for feedback and dissent

Benefits & Pay
Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $100,000 - $720,000.
Netflix provides comprehensive benefits including Health Plans, Mental Health support, a 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match, Stock Option Program, Disability Programs, Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, Family-forming benefits, and Life and Serious Injury Benefits. We also offer paid leave of absence programs. Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off to be used for vacation, holidays, and sick paid time off.
