Job Description
Netflix Outreach & Engagement (O&E) focuses on attracting and engaging talent for Animated studio projects and Content Creative Development/Services executives. The team builds employer brand candidate awareness and cultivates relationships with industry and creative practitioners, by positioning Netflix as the ideal inclusive entertainment company to work with and for. Our event strategies support hiring Animation creators, and content executives in live-action film, series, and casting.

The Events Strategy Coordinator will play a key role in supporting and executing a multitude of events that attract and engage candidates for Netflix.

This role will partner closely with O&E program colleagues, Talent Acquisition, Publicity, Communications, Internal Corporate Events, Inclusion Recruiting Programs, Talent Operations, and the Content business.

What You'll Do:
• Support Media and Events Strategy Manager to execute events strategy and to deliver memos, briefings and programming.
• Support a hybrid mix of virtual, recorded-content and live in-person events activation and programming for animation festivals and industry conferences.
• Actively manage O&E event calendar and memos to better inform the cross functional teams.
• Manage the O&E Events database and reports in Airtable.
• Partner with Media Coordinator for branding events and promotional media assets requests.
• Coordinate with the Corporate Events team on AV, vendors, booths, logistics, and execution.
• Stay well informed on market trends in entertainment & Animation industry events, conferences, and festivals for relevant programming and impactful experiences.
• Coordinate with the relevant teams to create gifting for event participants and candidates.

What You'll Need:
• Animation experience is a Must Have
• 5+ yrs of event experience in the entertainment industry that includes executing, planning, and staffing events at an agency, studio, network, or with a brand (experience with animation, film, or television industry events preferred)
• A pulse on entertainment industry networking events, preferably catering to animation, emerging talent, and executive level underrepresented communities.
• Strong organizational skills with acute detail-oriented approach
• A team player and great communicator to a variety of audiences
• Maintain a positive attitude and cultivate internal relationships.
• Ability to handle multiple events simultaneously.
