Engineering Manager, Creative Compute and Storage

We are working in the space between the public cloud and on-premise infrastructure, allowing us to bring utility to creative technologies and enable a globally connected content ecosystem. We are looking for an engineering leader to be part of that team, lead and work with some of the best and brightest talent in this space.

As an Engineering Manager, you will lead portions of the development and build-out of our infrastructure platforms. You will work with internal engineering teams, technical creatives, production teams and external vendors around the world to deliver amazing technology experiences for our creatives. We are looking for an experienced engineering background that brings a broad set of technical knowledge, achievements and a development focused mindset to solving problems.

In this role you will...
• Have deep experience with development of an infrastructure platform, including product strategy, roadmaps and workflows.
• Partner with engineers, business and technical leaders, and internal and external partner teams to design and build a technology infrastructure platform at global scale
• Build, lead, develop and mentor a team of systems and software development engineers across multiple countries, time zones and technical disciplines
• Look for opportunities to simplify the designs, operations, and deployment plans; reduce complexity while providing performance, agility, and scalability
• Lead through ambiguity and be comfortable making decisions despite incomplete information or requirements.
• Drive the team's strategic direction and lead with a hands-on approach to problem solving; providing context, but enable the individual team members to lead their projects and initiatives.

About You
• Infrastructure development and engineering experience in networking, systems and storage across tens of sites with hundreds of nodes per site
• Experience leading a team of engineers and developers and growing to be multiple teams focused on very focused initiatives
• Deep technical knowledge and hands-on experience with implementation, design, monitoring, and troubleshooting of systems and networks Be a self-starter, curious and not afraid to ask when in doubt
• Experience and understanding of how to drive effectiveness and efficiency through automation and infrastructure-as-code
• Sharp assessment skills with the ability to decipher ''wants'' versus ''needs'' and comfortable negotiating prioritization accordingly
• Experience driving teams through large scale projects, identifying milestones and tracking deliverablesSelf organize and experience driving cross-functional efforts with external teams
• See a problem or opportunity, take ownership and act on it independently
• Collaborate and manage efforts with peers and teams across responsibility areas, languages, geography and time zones
