Job Description
This team is a core group within Netflix Marketing that guides critical business decisions through insights and analysis. The team works in partnership with business leaders across marketing and cross-functional teams to serve as the key point-of-contact in the areas of business performance and strategic insights. The team is highly visible throughout the organization and in particular to the senior leadership of Netflix who depend heavily on the insights and perspectives from the team to inform important decisions in the ongoing growth of the business.

Netflix is looking for an experienced director to partner with our global marketing executives, ensuring that Marketing teams are fully equipped with the data and information they need to create conversation-driving marketing campaigns. You will lead a nimble team focused on delivering insights that scale across the Netflix Marketing org.

Key Responsibilities:
• Tooling & Insights Infrastructure: Identify data, insights, and operational needs, and partner with our product, engineering, and data science teams to establish a system of apps that improves access to information as well as operational excellence of the Marketing team.
• Education & Best Practices: Define and establish indicators of positive marketing performance and communicate best practices to Marketing teams.
• Cross-Functional Strategy & Support: In partnership with Finance and the CMO, contribute to company-wide planning as the informed captain from Marketing, aggregating critical information globally for executive review.
• Product Marketing Support: Support Product Marketing efforts from a global strategy and analytics perspective.
• Data and Insights: Define and build the set of marketing insights to be provided to Marketing execs and the Marketing org - allowing us to track titles and initiatives that perform well and look forward to the future to determine where we might want to invest.
• Business Partner to Marketing: As needed, drive global initiatives and / or decision-making. For example, decisions around new apps to implement globally, improving availability of marketing data to teams around the world, etc.

The Ideal Candidate Is/Has... For example...
• 8+ years of experience in a highly-analytical environment (e.g. management consulting firm, strategy and operations, or other roles that require a blend of analytical, operations, and heavy cross-functional interaction).
• A successful candidate will have strong written and verbal communication capabilities with the ability to 1) provide recommendations in a clear and concise way 2) engage stakeholders and drive alignment across teams.
• High comfort level with independently performing comprehensive analyses and managing projects.
• Experience in insights development, change management, and operations.
• Proficiency in financial modeling via Excel, experience or strong interest to learn BI tools such as Tableau, and the ability to quickly learn internal tools.
• High tolerance for change, and the capacity to accomplish enormous amounts of work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
• Respect, understanding and enthusiasm for Netflix culture.
