About

We are looking for a highly quantitative, driven, creative, and curious insights data analyst to join our Supplier Management team, which manages the global procurement and vendor lifecycle for all Netflix vendors. The ideal candidate for this role enjoys identifying and solving complex enterprise-wide problems with a data mindset. You are someone that will help to integrate complex data sources, to perform data analytics on vendor and procurement data, and to develop various visualization dashboards and possess the ability to distill information into actionable insights. A successful candidate will be naturally data curious, experienced in improving the availability and usability of data, and excited about creating sustainable reporting. You enjoy problem-solving, building solutions, delivering actionable data-driven insights, and working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This position will reside in our Los Angeles or Los Gatos office and will report to the global leader of Supplier Management.

Responsibilities:
• Own, implement, and drive projects that gather and integrate large volumes of vendor and procurement data. Perform analysis, interpret results, and develop actionable insights and recommendations for use across the company.
• Partner with key stakeholder groups that might include, and not limited to, Procurement Business partners in order to align on the execution and implementation of strategic data insights identified through the analysis you perform
• Analyze spend data and develop insights across the different spend categories in order to identify cost savings, vendor consolidation, expand categories, catalog improvements, and vendor obsolescence opportunities
• Present data effectively and in a visually compelling way
• Identify synergies between strategic spend and sourcing opportunities for recommended vendors working closely with the different lines of business
• Assist in overseeing data governance process for vendor master, ensure business users adhere to specified standard, review data quality issues and perform ongoing monitoring and maintenance of key vendor data
• Define and create automated interactive dashboards and tools that provide visibility into procurement data and business insights
• Lead data cleansing and consolidation efforts to ensure the multiple tools involved in collecting vendor data are unified, connected, and reportable

Qualities We're Looking For:
• 8+ years of relevant data science, data analyst, business analytics, business intelligence experience
• Experience with dashboarding tools such as Tableau and PowerBI
• Project management skills - ability to take ownership of tasks while handling competing priorities
• Advanced analytical skills with the ability to build, cleanse, and navigate large data sets
• Experience processing large amounts of structured and unstructured data sets
• Effective oral and written communication skills, business acumen, and the ability to lead cross-functional meetings
• Relationship builder - Ability to cultivate strong cross functional relationships and communicate effectively with team members and business partners
• Curiosity and passion - Our team members ask probing questions, challenge the status quo, make changes to improve processes, and have fun while doing it; having a positive attitude and never settling for ''good enough'' are key
• Ability to adapt quickly and make an impact in a rapid paced organization
• Occasional trips to our regional headquarters as needed

Extra dose of awesomeness if you have:
• Vendor data management, compliance, procurement operations, and solutions management experience
• ERP and Procurement systems experience with Vendor Management, Sourcing, Procurement
• Fluency in Python, R, SQL, and/or related languages
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science & Engineering, Business Analytics
