Job Description

We are looking for an AV Manager who will be responsible for leading a team of experienced managers across our AV events, operations, and build space across UCAN (United States and Canada). The ideal candidate will be an inclusive leader who is motivated to lead a high-performing group focused on delivering exceptional solutions for the business. This individual will help with the overall audio visual strategy amidst the rapid scaling at Netflix while focusing on innovation and partnerships across the globe.

As the UCAN AV Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining the team's roadmap from design/consultation to execution. This role should focus on hiring and developing the leaders across the country and helping craft the initiatives to bring the group to the next level. You will lead the technical representation for our cross-functional partners and vendors to help, design, manage, and execute. You will utilize metrics to measure success, customer satisfaction, make strategic decisions, and help the team scale. You will partner with cross-functional teams, senior leadership and other regional N-Tech managers to ensure a consistent and exceptional AV experience across all of our pillars.

• Lead, grow, and mentor skilled AV engineers, producers, operations and support

Your Skills & Experience
• Experience leading managers and dispersed functions
• Strong experience operating and supporting live events (corporate, hospitality, or other major event venues)
• Strategic thinker and leader, problem-solver
• Strong AV technical background with expertise in IT Infrastructure
• Knowledge of IT best practices around data security
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Driving and optimizing deployment-related workflows to ensure a streamlined process for all hardware and software requests
• Ability to collaborate and coordinate with internal partners and external vendors across a global organization
• Ability to prioritize and stay organized in fast-paced and high volume environment
• Experience writing technically-oriented documentation
• Inspiring leader focused on direct reports performance and development
