Job Description
The Corporate Finance, Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team at Netflix is responsible for company-wide financial planning, forecasting, and strategic analysis. We derive a significant competitive advantage from the highly analytical approach we take to managing the company, and the Corporate FP&A team plays a key role in this area. Senior management heavily depends on the Corporate FP&A group to accurately track trends in performance and identify opportunities for improvement, and the outcome of our group's analyses plays a critical role in the important and strategic decision-making for the company.

The main focus for this FP&A Associate will be supporting our revenue forecasting and analytics. You will be responsible for accurately modeling and forecasting the business as well as leading the strategic analysis that is used to inform important decisions. You will gain invaluable experience in a position that offers an opportunity to have a large impact within a growing Finance organization.

This role will sit in our Los Gatos office.

Responsibilities
• Develop insightful dashboards, memos & presentations that summarize data and facilitate decision-making for senior management including the CFO, Head of Investor Relations, and the Board of Directors.
• Support financial models including the global revenue forecast.
• Work closely with other SP&A teams to develop a narrative on the company's performance.
• Work with partners in Data Science & Engineering and Accounting to automate revenue reporting and insights.
• Identify and lead initiatives to continuously improve, automate, and scale forecasting and reporting tools, processes, and methodologies.

Qualifications
• 2 - 5 years of experience in FP&A / Strategic Finance.
• Extensive experience conducting quantitative/ financial analysis and developing recommendations based on this analysis.
• Must be a self-starter, disciplined to work effectively autonomously, while also collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• A successful candidate will have a strong track record of identifying key questions; defining, performing and coordinating analyses; and communicating findings in a clear and concise way.
• Superior proficiency in Excel & financial modeling.
• Experience working with large data sets, SQL and Tableau knowledge a plus.
• Experience working in Anaplan or similar financial planning tool is a plus.
• Experience in accounting concepts and financial planning is a plus.
