The Product Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team is deeply embedded within the Product (Technology & Development) team and plan, analyze, and manage their budget and headcount for one of the world's most innovative product-powered initiatives. What sets Netflix apart from its competitors is a world-class platform that is built in-house by our Product teams that consist of Product managers, Product designers, engineers, data scientists, and many more. We are looking for a well-rounded, experienced Associate that will be an insightful business partner to the Product Innovation, Design, and Creative Production teams.

A successful candidate will need to be a self-starter with expert analytical and complex financial modeling skills and communication with engineering individual contributors all the way to leadership. We are looking for someone who enjoys problem-solving and building solutions in a collaborative environment. He/She/They will be able to manage complex work streams that involve multiple stakeholders and build strong relationships across teams.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Help drive financial reporting solutions for emerging business areas via collaboration with Product business partners, Finance Technology, or Talent/ HR team
• Support and deliver long and short-term financial forecasts and headcount planning for the Product Innovation, Design, and Creative Product Teams and create reporting packages and regular financial presentations to Director/ VP level.
• Create insightful presentations to summarize analyses and facilitate decision-making for leadership
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and be able to effectively communicate tracking to forecasts and insights into expense trends with recommendations on next steps
• Act as a trusted business partner working cross-functionally to actively address the business's risk and opportunities while working with key business leaders on ad-hoc analysis such as scenario, trade-off, ROI analysis.

Qualifications and Abilities
• 5+ years of experience in a fast-paced, highly analytical environment; prior experience in FP&A/strategic finance in tech or high-growth start-ups is preferred
• Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently and simultaneously manage multiple priorities and challenge the status quo to drive change and process improvement
• Extensive experience building financial reporting processes from scratch with high ambiguity and shifting requirements
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and be able to effectively communicate tracking to forecasts and insights into expense trends with recommendations on next steps
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to build successful relationships and partners with all levels of a company's organization
• Become a key user of current financial systems and processes including Workday, Anaplan, Essbase, Tableau and have curiosity on improving efficiencies around reporting and data integrity
• Extremely proficient with Excel or Google sheets and presentation building via Google Slides
• Experience working with large data sets, SQL and Tableau knowledge a plus
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), financial statements, and financial processes a plus
• Bachelor's degree required
