The Content FP&A team is looking for an Associate to focus on strategic planning and consolidation within its Centralized FP&A team. This team monitors and advises on the broader financial picture of the Content, Marketing, and Studio teams. This Associate will be focused on a variety of tasks, including cross-team financial analysis, content investment recommendations, and the consolidation of forecast information across the Content, Marketing, and Studio teams. Senior leadership depends heavily on this team to accurately model and forecast the business as well as to lead strategic analyses that are used to inform important business decisions.

The Associate position will be based in our Hollywood office.

Responsibilities:
• Work with cross-functional finance teams to help consolidate content financials and shape financial policies and metrics.
• Prepare guidance and financial update materials for Netflix executives and the Corporate FP&A team to identify potential shortfalls or surpluses across the business.
• Work cross-functionally with our various teams to assist in data ingestion, advanced analytics, and optimization of tools and processes.
• Create and evaluate scenario plans for senior leadership.
• Assist in developing analytical frameworks around content programming
• Perform ad-hoc analysis to improve broader forecast accuracy
• Creating insightful presentations that summarize analysis and presenting them to groups of Netflix managers and executives to influence decision-making.

Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in a planning/strategy role from relevant industries such as entertainment, tech, management consulting, or investment banking. We are looking for candidates that have worked in a highly-demanding environment in which complex modeling and analysis is performed.
• Ideal candidates should demonstrate knowledge of media and entertainment financial planning and accounting principles.
• Candidates are required to be highly analytical and be strong, effective communicators. Ideal candidates will have a proven track record of delivering actionable recommendations based on their analysis.
• High aptitude and enthusiasm for complex problem solving utilizing financial modeling and analysis, including strong Excel skills.
