Responsibilities

News Digital is looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, full-time e-commerce writer to be a part of our Shop With E! team.

Responsibilities:
• Assist in building out and maintaining monthly e-commerce content calendar
• Work with a team of writers to create social commerce content on Instagram Shop, building product collections and related posts and stories
• Write both assigned and self-pitched daily e-commerce content
• Produce social content for celebrity guest editor activations
• Work with E! Style Collective social team to assist in daily output of Shop With E! content to Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
• Identify viral and emerging trends/products and pitch for write-ups. Provide insight for clever angles and shareable headlines
• Coordinate with audience development team to track analytic insights to aid and optimize content strategy
• Monitor competitors and industry trends
• Assist social team with e-commerce content creation

Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree
• 3+ years of experience in social media/digital content and/or working as a copywriter or social editor for a beauty or fashion brand
• Ability to work from Los Angeles office
• Experience with SocialFlow, CrowdTangle and Dash Hudson, plus thorough understanding of Instagram/TikTok/Facebook/Twitter insights preferred
• Excellent writing skills that align with the E! News voice
• Ability to abide by and enforce E!'s social media brand guidelines
• Familiarity with AP Stylebook preferred

Eligibility Requirements:
• Must submit an attestation disclosing your COVID-19 vaccination status and, if partially or fully vaccinated, submitting your vaccination record no later than 7 days following commencement of employment.
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at the commencement of employment or adhere to enhanced protocols if Company determines your job position requires accessing an NBCUniversal worksite.

• A good eye for content composition, either self-generated/created or professionally sourced
• Has an eye for trends, both in terms of lifestyle/fashion and pop culture
• Familiar with E! and Access Hollywood talent and shows
• Familiar with top entertainment and lifestyle sites and influencers, and with current celebrity news
• Professional demeanor when interacting with talent for celebrity interviews and social activations
• Self-starter with a collaborative mindset
• Ability to juggle multiple projects and responsibilities and to seamlessly move from project to project throughout the day
• Ability to thrive in a culture that is both creative and process-driven
